
ALGS 2024
For ALGS 2024, we wanted to pair down the offerings and do something simple and very limited.
Nessie Hoodie
As the event was held in LA, I directed the design & development of a hoodie that evoked Barbie vibes. It was an instant hit both online and at the event. We prepared 500 units in person and 100 units online, both selling out in under 30 minutes. We opened the item up for pre-orders and sold more units than the top 90% of Apex products thus far. The final design is extremely close to my original concept, so it was extremely encouraging that it was such a success! Some of the pro players also donned this piece during the event. I worked with product designer Kelsey Byrne to bring this to life.
